background

I have a unique vision that allows my art to be random, yet concrete. A flawed frame made form 100-year-old barn wood reflects the idea that an imperfect raw material, when put with art, can become one piece, preserving the old while capturing the essence of the new.

I am attracted to a clean look but with an added delight of strong colors and details. I often paint shapes and images that portray an embedded emotion only expressed through my painting. I paint boldly and quickly with free strokes and find my motivation from the desire to connect with others through saying nothing at all... but to hit them inwardly through seeing an expression of another's deep thought. This can be done by observing the art at a deeper level, which in turn allows the ability to see and feel in a safe way. All featured art is available for purchase in the salon.

This is the inspiration of my art.
